Who We Are

Alexandra Papadopoulos is the Managing Director of Workplace Solutions Limited. As the former Legal Adviser of the Equal Opportunities Commission in Hong Kong from 1996 to 2005, she has advised on and handled numerous cases relating to allegations of unlawful discrimination and harassment. She also successfully spearheaded landmark cases on behalf of the Equal Opportunities Commission in the Hong Kong courts. She is regarded as an expert on equal opportunities.

Prior to working at the Equal Opportunities Commission, Alexandra worked as a corporate and commercial fraud prosecutor both in Australia and Hong Kong. She has been a qualified lawyer for more than 20 years. A keen interest in alternative forms of dispute resolution led her to undertake post-graduate studies in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution at the City University of Hong Kong. She is an Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an accredited Mediator with the HKIAC.

Alexandra has conducted many training courses and seminars, including on how to deal with discrimination, harassment, victimisation and workplace grievances. She is the author of the chapter on Discrimination and Harassment in Sweet & Maxwell’s “Tort Law & Practice in Hong Kong”. She established Workplace Solutions Limited in 2005 to meet the needs of clients who require expert and professional knowledge in creating workplaces that are conducive to happy and productive employees and satisfied customers.
